The Future Interactions Group is a specialised unit working within Edinburgh Napier University’s Centre for Interaction Design, part of the Institute for Informatics and Digital Innovation, offering a full range of services including consultancy, design, development and installation.
Since publicly launching the ICE in Jan 2010, we've been approached for consultancy and design services by a multitude of organisations from both the UK and further afield. These include the BBC, the NHS, Edinburgh City Council, the National Norwegian Museum, World Heritage, Toshiba Medical Visualisation Services, Redlands Police Department (California), Logica, RBS, Standard Life, Cadence, Enquest and Cap Gemini. We've also recently finished our first of several meeting and collaboration spaces commissions by Astra Zeneca.
The briefs have varied across the domains but have all focused on the potential and impact of various emerging interactive technologies on work practice, specifically local and remote collaborative and creative activity. If you would like to discuss how we might help your organisation enhance it's collaborative capabilities please drop us a line.
